Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and a writer. She is most well recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. In the 1950s she performed as a stage artist in a few Broadway productions before gaining into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's performance in the year 1957. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina that following year. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama from 1957. This movie was an enormous success and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. When she was an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next role that she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her to play in the year 1964. Louise continued to juggle her work effectively in between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles opposed to her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently she's also been the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural or The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and has lived there since.
