Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Best known for anchoring the CNN morning show At This Hour, Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Bolduan was previously a co-host on the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was one of CNN s award-winning coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. She has also served as a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. As a member of Capitol Hill Unit Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on legislative events and other congressional activities, including discussions to raise the federal debt limit and super committee deliberations. Bolduan has worked as a correspondent for general assignments. She covered such reports such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision in the case of Obamacare. Bolduan also reported on the government's stimulus plans in 2009. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007.
